Amber Events! Showings & Birthday!

I am in my final week of the semester and my brain is exploding. And: Monday May 7th is My birthday! This means that for a brief time before I start working on my thesis this summer, I come out of hiding and get to spend lots of enjoyable time with my friends for a week or so. I miss you all! Please, call me, harrass me (after Friday)! If you can make it to any events, please do. Wednesday night should be a great show.
I wanna be having stuff for all of the next week, so brunches and going out on the weekends, etc. Also; housewarming chez Steev and Amber will now approach in the next couple of weeks. I miss you all!!

1. Weds May 2 11am-1pm Works in progress show

Alternate route from San Francisco to Mills College

Heya, folks; if anyone is coming from the city to Mills College, you have to avoid the breakdown now.

Here is an illustrated map of the breakdown:
http://tinyurl.com/2ge5bs
You have to detour if you are travelling from Berkeley to 880 OR if you are travelling from SF towards Walnut Creek/Mills College

If you are taking the bridge from SF to Mills, take the bridge to the East Bay, and get off at the first exit;
West Grand Ave, then
Right on Market,
Left on 18th
which becomes 17th
over the little overpassy
to North I-980, and then get back on I-580 as usual.

Here is the link to driving directions from SF to Mills College on googlemaps:

(I couldn't get an exact start point on the google map, not having an
exact address, but the suggestion to take West Grand Ave is from the
Caltrans website.)
